SCI’s 2nd Annual NPL Securitisation Seminar, kindly hosted by Orrick, will take place in Milan, the heart of the global NPL sector.

In over 24 years of work experience, Biagio has consolidated a strong expertise in structured finance and capital markets activities. In this respect, he has been involved in several major transactions structured in the Italian market, including NPLs disposals. He managed the relationship with the top management of key corporate and institutional clients, contributing to the development of products and innovative financial solutions.
Currently, Biagio is Head of Active Credit Portfolio Steering Head Office Department at Intesa Sanpaolo, reporting directly to the Group CFO. In this function he is responsible, at Group level, for credit portfolio management, credit strategies and NPL Plan activities.
Previously, he set up and developed the Credit Solutions Group at Banca IMI with the aim of building a center of excellence for the structuring and management of the credit risk activities. The team has consolidated over the years results and leadership on the Italian market for securitization and transfer of illiquid risks. Prior to joining Banca IMI, Biagio has been Head of Business Development at Sanpaolo IMI and before Head of FIG - DCM at UniCredit. He started his career at Banca Commerciale Italiana as originator and senior structurer for asset based finance transactions and credit derivatives trades, after a 3 year training period for highly potential professionals.
He graduated magna cum laude in Banking and earned an MBA at Stoà (ASFOR - Sloan School of Management - MIT, Programme).

Marco joined European DataWarehouse GmbH (ED) as Director Business Development in January 2013. ED was created by a diverse set of shareholders in June 2012 as a result of the European Central Bank ABS Loan-level Data Initiative. ED is a repository where institutions upload their data and information in an open, transparent and trusted environment for public and private ABS, covered bonds, ACC, NPL and whole loan portfolios. Institutional data users such as investors can access aggregate information, loan level data and documentation in a systematic manner via web, cloud or API. ED operates as a utility providing a range of products and services.
Previously, Marco coordinated with a team of advisors the implementation of the ECB ABS Loan-level Initiative at LCM Partners. He holds a degree in Economics at Ca' Foscari University in Venice.

Riccardo Sigaudo joined the Banca IFIS Group in September 2017 having gained 10 years’ experience in the Corporate Finance & Strategy area. He has worked on ordinary and extraordinary finance projects for various Italian banks, including those in crisis. In Banca IFIS, he is Head of the Origination Team for IFIS NPL, focusing on scouting & execution of NPL purchase transactions and Senior Financing operations. During 2018, he concluded 12 NPL portfolio purchases amounting to a grand total nominal value of 3.6 billion Euro.

He publishes commentary and insight on all aspects of securitised and covered bond investing and keeps the market up to date on issues facing securitisation in Europe. Prior to DBRS, Gordon spent 9 years in research and trading at Citi, covering securitised products, covered bonds and corporate credit. Gordon is a graduate of the Schulich School of Business in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, where he obtained a Masters in Business Administration. He also holds a science degree from Acadia University.’

Madeleine Horrocks


Madeleine Horrocks is a finance and capital markets partner based in the Milan office and a dual-qualified English and Italian lawyer.

She is a member of the firm's Structured Finance Group.
Madeleine has expertise in a number of different areas and her broad practice covers all types of finance and capital markets work, with a particular emphasis on securitisation, derivatives, EMTN, covered bonds, structured finance and general lending. She regularly represents arrangers, lead managers, swap counterparties, issuers, trustees and noteholder representatives on a wide range of finance and capital markets matters. Madeleine advises major Italian and international banks, corporates and financial institutions active in the European financial markets. She also has experience of advising on finance transactions in the emerging African off-grid energy sector.
She has been based permanently in Italy since 2003. Prior to joining Orrick, Madeleine worked for a leading international firm in their Milan office.

Gianrico Giannesi


Gianrico Giannesi is an Italian qualified lawyer based in Orrick’s Rome office. He is Deputy Head of the Italian Finance team.

His practice is focused on debt capital market and structured finance transactions, with a particular emphasis on CMBS, RMBS, CBO transactions, securitisation of leasing, consumer loans, commercial receivables, public receivables, trade receivables, healthcare receivables, tax receivables and non performing receivables.
Gianrico is also specialised in Minibond issuance, having advised the main Minibond market players on several of the first Minibond issues on the Italian market. He regularly advises the leading Italian and international banks acting as arrangers, lead managers and originators.
Gianrico is ranked among the key individuals in Chambers and Partners (Europe) in Banking & Finance and Debt Capital Markets: Securitisation. In The Legal 500 (EMEA), he is considered among the key advisers for Debt Capital Markets.

Annalisa Dentoni-Litta is a partner with the Finance team and is based in the Rome Office. She has wide experience in structured finance, securitizations and covered-bond transactions with a focus on public finance and Italian local public entities.

Her structured finance experience includes advice to arrangers, issuers and originators in relation to a number of public and private securitizations, both domestic and cross-border, as well as receivables purchase transactions, involving various types of receivables, including RMBS, consumer loans, healthcare receivables, tax and trade receivables.

In 2003 Riccardo moved to London and joined Lehman Brothers’ European Executive Committee and became Co-Head of the Bank’s European Fixed Income business. In 2006 Riccardo returned to Italy as Chief Executive Officer to take over the running of the operation and in 2008 he became co-Chief Executive of Lehman Brothers in Europe and the Middle East. Francesco Dissera is a Managing Director heading the EMEA Fixed Income Structuring and Advisory.
Francesco has over20 years investment banking and capital markets experience. Prior to joining Stormharbour, Francesco spent 14 years at UBS AG building the securitisation and covered bond business across EMEA: lately Francesco was heading the ABS effort at UBS AG.
Prior to UBS AG, Francesco worked at JP Morgan in London and New York, when he was involved in executing the very first Italian ABS transaction. Francesco has originated and executed more than 60 ABS transactions across EMEA, with particular focus on FIG and Government related assets. He has great experience in enabling both internal and external issuers to finance residential and commercial mortgages; personal loans; auto loans and leases; non performing secured and unsecured loans; real estate assets; healthcare and Government related receivables.

Prior to Carige, Gaetano spent nearly 20 years in London, holding senior positions in Credit Risk, Credit Structuring and Credit Portfoglio Management, at Commerzbank, Dresdner Bank and Kleinwort Benson. After investment banking Gaetano moved to investment and corporate advisory with focus on illiquid and real assets.
He started his career in cash sales and then in Relationship Management at Ambrosiano Veneto Bank, London Branch.

Enrica Landolfi

A 15- year veteran in HSBC holding different positions, Enrica Landolfi is currentlyHead of ABS Origination for Continental Europe and Structured Finance for Italy.

With extensive experience in debt capital markets and structured finance field, she currently looks after the origination of public ABS and co-ordinates the activities in the non-performing loans financing space within EMEA as well as the coverage of all structured finance in Italy.

During her career, she has participated in the structuring and origination of more than 50 transactions backed by various asset classes such as consumer, automotive, mixed portfolio of secured and unsecured loans and non-performing loans.

  • Carlo joined Citi in 2010 and currently advises European banks and insurance companies on a wide range of strategic balance sheet solutions across all asset classes (performing and non performing) with particular focus on IFRS accounting and the impact of Basel III and Solvency II. Prior to Citi, Carlo was the Head of Credit Portfolio Management within the Group Credit Treasury of Unicredit Group, focusing on structuring and executing synthetic securitisations for strategic capital management purposes and risk management, and portfolio rebalancing.
  • Carlo’s experience in balance sheet management advisory comes from various mandates held on asset disposals, asset guarantee schemes, NPLs disposals working for banks and also advising governments (in particular the Dutch and the Italian Ministry of Finance).
  • Previous to joining Citi, Carlo has worked in various roles in structured finance ranging from securitisation, structured products to risk management at a number of investment banks, including Unicredit, TD Securities and Meliorbanca.

Gregorio Consoli

Gregorio Consoli joined the Firm in 2002 and became a Partner in 2013.
Head of the Banking and Finance department, Gregorio advises Italian and international companies and financial institutions on legal and regulatory profiles of ordinary and extraordinary transactions and of day-by-day transactions. Salvatore is, from December 2018, Real Estate & Leasing Director of Intrum Italy. He joined Intesa Sanpaolo in July 2014 as Head of Asset Management of Reoco Intesa Sanpaolo SpA as part of the real estate arm of Capital Light Bank, with the responsibility for the investment and the asset management team and the legal asset management. In 2015 Salvatore started covering also the role of Head of Real Estate Asset Class in Intesa Sanpaolo Provis.
Prior of this experience Salvatore has been partner in Cordea Savills LLP (now Savills Investment) where he joined the team as Head of Investment with the responsibility for the investment and asset management of the Italian platform.
In Cordea Savills LLP Salvatore has been member of the Transaction Advisory Committee overseeing all European Investments.
Before joining Cordea Savills, Salvatore has been part of the team of Pirelli Real Estate were had a number of roles since 2002. In 2008 he became responsible of the Residential Department of Pirelli Real Estate overseeing the residential investment in Italy. From 2002 to 2008 Salvatore was responsible for implementing the business model of Pirelli Real Estate in Central and Eastern Europe in joint venture with Unicredit Group.
This role had a particular focus on Poland, where he was responsible for the acquisition of a local development company, entering into a wider joint venture, setting up an investment, agency and project management departments. Salvatore has started his experience in a Construction Company. After his degree in Civil Engineering, Salvatore made a full MBA in Bocconi.
